Ingredients
Step 1 — For the Shrimp and Broccoli
- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 3 cups broccoli florets
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Step 2 — For the Spicy Sauce
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce (or tamari for gluten-free)
- 1 tablespoon sriracha or other hot sauce
- 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon grated fresh ginger (optional)
Instructions
- 1
Preheat Air Fryer
Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- 2
Prepare Shrimp and Broccoli
Pat the shrimp dry. In a bowl, toss the broccoli florets with 1/2 tablespoon olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Pat the shrimp dry and toss with the remaining 1/2 tablespoon olive oil, salt, and pepper.
- 3
Air Fry Broccoli
Place the seasoned broccoli florets in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 7 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
- 4
Add Shrimp and Cook
Add the seasoned shrimp to the air fryer basket with the broccoli. Cook for another 5-7 minutes, shaking the basket occasionally, until the shrimp are pink and cooked through, and the broccoli is tender-crisp.
- 5
Make Spicy Sauce
While the shrimp and broccoli are cooking, whisk together all ingredients for the spicy sauce in a small bowl: soy sauce, sriracha, honey, sesame oil, minced garlic, and grated ginger (if using).
- 6
Combine and Serve
Once cooked, transfer the shrimp and broccoli to a clean bowl. Pour the spicy sauce over the top and toss gently to coat. Serve immediately, perhaps over rice or quinoa.
