Ingredients
Step 1 — Churro dough
- 1 cup water
- 4 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp sugar
- Pinch of salt
- 1 cup flour
- 2 eggs
- Vegetable oil (for frying)
- ½ cup sugar mixed with 1 tsp cinnamon
Step 2 — Chocolate
- 2 cups whole milk
- 4 oz dark chocolate (chopped)
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 2 tbsp sugar

Make dough
Boil water, butter, sugar, and salt. Off heat, stir in flour. Return to heat, cook 1 minute. Beat in eggs one at a time.

Fry churros
Pipe dough into hot oil. Fry until golden. Roll in cinnamon sugar.

Hot chocolate
Simmer milk, chocolate, cornstarch, and sugar until thick. Serve churros with chocolate for dipping.
