Ingredients
Step 1 — Prep the pork belly
- 2 lbs pork belly (skinless, ¼-inch slices)
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
Step 2 — Grill and serve
- Lettuce leaves (perilla or romaine)
- Ssamjang
- Sliced garlic
- Sliced green chili peppers
- Kimchi
- Steamed white rice
- Sliced onions (grilled, optional)

Prep the pork
Pat pork belly dry. Season lightly with salt and pepper. Toss with sesame oil. Chill until ready to grill.

Grill the samgyeopsal
Heat a grill pan or cast-iron skillet over medium-high. Grill pork belly slices 2–3 minutes per side until golden and crisp at edges. Drain excess fat between batches.

Wrap and serve
Cut pork into bite-sized pieces with scissors. Wrap in lettuce with ssamjang, garlic, chili, and kimchi. Serve with rice and grilled onions.
