Air Fryer Lemon Herb Cod with Asparagus

Ingredients
Step 1 — For the Cod and Asparagus
- 4 cod fillets (about 5 oz each)
- 1 bunch asparagus, trimmed
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1 lemon, half sliced, half for juice

Prepare Asparagus
Toss the trimmed asparagus with 1 tablespoon of olive oil, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Set aside.

Prepare Cod
Pat the cod fillets dry. In a small bowl, mix the remaining 1 tablespoon of olive oil with parsley, thyme, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Brush this mixture over the cod fillets. Top each fillet with a slice of lemon.

Air Fry
Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Place the seasoned cod fillets in the air fryer basket. Arrange the asparagus around the cod fillets (if space allows, or cook in batches). Cook for 10-12 minutes, or until the cod is opaque and flakes easily, and the asparagus is tender-crisp. Cooking time may vary based on thickness of cod.

Remove from air fryer. Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the cod and asparagus before serving.
