- 2 tbsp olive oil
Step 2 — White Garlic Dill Sauce
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 2 tbsp sour cream or Greek yogurt
- 1 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Step 3 — Toppings
- 1.5 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1.5 cups dill pickle slices, patted dry
- Extra fresh dill for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- 1
Prepare Pizza Dough and Sauce
Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Lightly grease a pizza pan or baking sheet. Roll out your pizza dough to your desired thickness and shape, then transfer it to the prepared pan. Drizzle the dough with olive oil. In a small bowl, whisk together softened cream cheese, sour cream, chopped dill, minced garlic, onion powder, salt, and pepper until smooth and well combined. This is your white garlic dill sauce.
- 2
Assemble the Pizza
Spread the white garlic dill sauce evenly over the pizza dough, leaving a small border for the crust. Sprinkle a layer of mozzarella cheese over the sauce. Arrange the patted-dry dill pickle slices evenly over the cheese. Drying the pickles is important to prevent a soggy pizza.
- 3
Bake and Serve
Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly. If desired, you can broil for the last minute for extra crispiness on the cheese. Remove from the oven, let it cool for a few minutes, then slice and garnish with extra fresh dill if desired. Serve immediately.
