Ingredients
Step 1 — For the Chicken Thighs
- 1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken thighs
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Step 2 — For the Honey Garlic Sauce
- 1/4 cup honey
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil (optional)

Prepare Chicken
Pat the chicken thighs dry. Toss with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Set aside.

Make Sauce
In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, grated ginger, and sesame oil (if using).

Air Fry Chicken
Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Place chicken thighs in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook for 10 minutes.

Glaze and Finish
Flip the chicken thighs. Brush generously with about half of the honey garlic sauce. Cook for another 8-10 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through (internal temperature of 165°F/74°C) and the sauce is bubbly and slightly caramelized. Brush with remaining sauce during the last minute of cooking.
