Ingredients

- 4 bone-in or boneless pork chops (about 1-inch thick)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Step 2 — For the Crispy Sage
- 12-15 fresh sage leaves
- 1 tbsp olive oil

Pat the pork chops dry with paper towels. Rub them with 2 tbsp olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Let them sit at room temperature for about 10 minutes while you prepare the sage.

Prepare Crispy Sage
Toss the fresh sage leaves with 1 tbsp olive oil until lightly coated. Place them in a single layer in the air fryer basket.

Air Fry Sage
Cook the sage at 370°F (185°C) for 2-3 minutes, watching carefully as they can burn quickly, until they are crisp. Remove them from the basket and set aside.

Place the seasoned pork chops in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook at 370°F (185°C) for 14-18 minutes (depending on thickness), flipping halfway through, until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C) for medium (recommended) or 160°F (71°C) for well-done.
