Ingredients
Step 1 — For the Salmon and Asparagus
- 4 (6 oz) salmon fillets
- 1 lb asparagus, trimmed
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Step 2 — For the Honey Mustard Glaze
- 3 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon dried dill (optional)
Instructions
- 1
Preheat Oven and Prepare Baking Sheet
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
- 2
Prepare Asparagus
Toss the trimmed asparagus with 1 tablespoon of olive oil, salt, and pepper directly on one side of the prepared baking sheet. Spread into a single layer.
- 3
Make Honey Mustard Glaze
In a small bowl, whisk together Dijon mustard, honey, lemon juice, and dill (if using) until well combined.
- 4
Prepare Salmon
Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Place them on the other side of the baking sheet next to the asparagus. Brush the tops of the salmon fillets generously with the honey mustard glaze.
- 5
Bake
Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork, and the asparagus is tender-crisp. Cooking time will vary depending on the thickness of the salmon fillets.
