Step 1 — For the Salmon
- 2 (6 oz) salmon fillets, skin on or off
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Step 2 — Yuzu Honey Glaze
- 2 tbsp yuzu juice
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp fresh ginger, grated
- 1/2 tsp sesame oil

- Cooked white rice
- Steamed asparagus or broccolini
- Toasted sesame seeds and sliced green onions for garnish

Prepare the Glaze
In a small bowl, whisk together yuzu juice, honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, grated ginger, and sesame oil. Set aside.

Cook the Salmon
Pat salmon fillets dry with a paper towel and season with salt and black pepper. Heat olive oil in a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Place salmon skin-side down (if applicable) and cook for 4-5 minutes until the skin is crispy and golden. Flip the salmon and cook for another 2-3 minutes, or until it's nearly cooked through.

Glaze and Serve
Pour the yuzu honey glaze over the salmon in the skillet. Reduce heat to medium-low and let it simmer for 1-2 minutes, spooning the glaze over the salmon until it thickens slightly and coats the fish. Be careful not to let the glaze burn. Remove from heat. Serve immediately with cooked white rice and steamed vegetables. Garnish with toasted sesame seeds and sliced green onions.
