Ingredients
Step 1 — For the Steak Bites
- 1.5 lbs sirloin steak or flank steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
Step 2 — For the Garlic Herb Butter
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh chives (optional)
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- 1
Prepare Steak
Cut steak into uniform 1-inch cubes. Pat dry with paper towels. In a bowl, toss steak cubes with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
- 2
Air Fry Steak
Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Arrange steak bites in a single layer in the air fryer basket (work in batches to avoid overcrowding). Cook for 8-10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until steak reaches desired doneness (e.g., 135°F/57°C for medium-rare). Avoid overcooking.
- 3
Make Garlic Herb Butter
While steak cooks, combine softened butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, chives (if using), and a pinch of salt in a small bowl. Mix well until combined.
- 4
Combine and Serve
Once steak bites are cooked, transfer them to a clean bowl. Add the garlic herb butter and toss gently until the butter is melted and coats the steak. Serve immediately.
