Step 1 — For the Chicken
- 1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken thighs
- 1/4 cup teriyaki sauce
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- Optional: sesame seeds and chopped green onions for garnish

Marinate Chicken
In a bowl, combine chicken thighs with teriyaki sauce, soy sauce, grated ginger, minced garlic, and sesame oil. Toss to coat evenly. Let marinate for at least 5 minutes (or up to 30 minutes in the refrigerator).

Prepare Air Fryer
Preheat air fryer to 380°F (190°C). Arrange marinated chicken thighs in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Discard excess marinade if desired, or reserve a small amount to brush on during cooking.

Air Fry Chicken
Cook for 15-18 minutes, flipping halfway through, until chicken is cooked through (internal temperature reaches 165°F or 74°C) and has a nice caramelized glaze. If reserving marinade, brush it on during the last few minutes of cooking.

Remove chicken from the air fryer and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing. Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions if desired. Serve with rice or steamed vegetables.
